We use DocuSign as a supplier to manage our temporary tenancy agreements. We appreciate your trust in us to provide you with a comfortable temporary accommodation. We look forward to hosting you soon!


We Provide Flexible 12-Month Tenancy Agreements for all bookings

Our tenancy agreement is designed to protect your rights as a tenant and complies with Dutch law. With just one month's notice, you can easily cancel your agreement. If you've already informed us about a stay duration less than 12 months, no further action is required. However, please note that extensions may not be possible due to subsequent bookings.

  • 12-month tenancy agreement as required by Dutch law
  • 1-month termination period for your convenience
  • Earlier termination already confirmed if communicated
  • No extensions guaranteed due to other bookings


Next Steps After Booking Confirmation

Now that you've found your ideal apartment, let us take care of your stay. Follow these simple steps to ensure a smooth experience:

  1. Make rental and deposit payments
  2. Coordinate check-in with our team
  3. Review the property inspection report


Payments: How and When

You will receive monthly rental invoices 5-7 days before their due dates. The deposit invoice will be sent before your check-in date and can be paid anytime up to and including the check-in day. For more information on payment methods, visit our FAQ page.


Check-In Process

A team member will contact you 1-2 weeks before your arrival to schedule your check-in. You can also share your preferred check-in time by emailing info@cityretreat.com. Upon arrival, our representative will provide keys, show you around, and perform a property inspection. Your apartment will be fully equipped with utilities, kitchen utensils, linens, and towels.


Property Inspection Report

The property inspection report, completed during check-in and check-out, protects you as a tenant and helps ensure you receive your full deposit back. Deductions are only made for excessive cleaning, significant damage, or missing items. Fortunately, such deductions are rare.


Maintenance & Extra Services

If you encounter maintenance issues, email info@cityretreat.com with photos and descriptions, and we'll arrange for the appropriate contractor. For extra cleaning, linen, and towels (additional cost), give us 4 days' notice by emailing jorge@cityretreat.com.


Booking Changes

If you need to modify your booking, such as extensions, cancellations, or new apartments, email us at bookings@cityretreat.com.
